The Crypt School 11+ Exam Dates
- You will receive notification of your Allocated Test Centre along with the venue testing arrangements by Monday 11 September 2023.
- The Entrance Test takes place on Saturday 16 September 2023.

The Crypt School 11+ Exam Styles
The Entrance Test for the 2024 entry will be conducted in September 2023, and it will be administered by GL Assessment at the seven Gloucestershire Grammar Schools.
- The test evaluates students' verbal and non-verbal abilities, as well as their proficiency in English and mathematics. GL Assessment provides the test, which consists entirely of multiple-choice questions.
- One of the papers focuses on assessing students' verbal skills, including comprehension, vocabulary, and verbal reasoning. The other paper evaluates non-verbal reasoning, as well as mathematical knowledge, skills, and understanding. Each test session is expected to last approximately one hour.
- Before the test begins, there is allocated time for sharing instructions and providing worked examples, particularly for the non-verbal reasoning component. Students are given a total of 45 minutes to complete the tests themselves.
