Ardingly College Year 7 (11+) Exam Styles
- To gain admission for Year 7 entry, the process involves two key steps.
- First, students are expected to participate in the 11+ Lower School Experience, which includes an interview with the Head of College.
- Additionally, they are required to attend the Aspire to Ardingly Assessment Day. On this day, students will undergo academic assessments, engage in classroom activities alongside their peers, and participate in teambuilding exercises.
- This annual event forms a key part of the assessment process and is mandatory to attend.
- Candidates will sit Ardingly College 11+ entrance assessments in the morning (English, Maths, Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning), followed by team building and orientation activities in the afternoon.

Ardingly College Year 9 (13+) Exam Styles
- The Year 9 admission process at our school involves several components, including an academic pre-test, a meeting with either the Head of the Senior School or a member of the Senior Academic team, submission of a school report, and a school reference.
- For candidates who attend a Prep School, it is mandatory to take the ISEB online Common Pre-test, which assesses their proficiency in English, Maths, Verbal Reasoning, and Non-Verbal Reasoning.
- This test is administered at their respective Prep Schools.
- However, for those students who do not currently attend a Prep School, either in the UK or abroad, they are required to undergo an entrance assessment in English, Maths, Verbal Reasoning, and Non-Verbal Reasoning as part of the admission process.
