- Candidates will sit papers in Maths (30 minutes), English (30 mins) and complete a Non-verbal reasoning standardised intelligence test (40 minutes). The format of the tests is based heavily on National Curriculum Tests. The whole procedure should take about two hours.
- English: The English paper assesses the pupils' ability to write creatively demonstrating ability to structure their writing effectively. Grammar, punctuation, spelling and vocabulary will be marked according to levels expected of a Year 2 pupil.
- Mathematics Children will be tested on concepts linked to the Year 2 National Curriculum.
- Interviews:
