The 11+ entrance examination will take place in the morning on Sunday 3rd December 2023.
Lady Eleanor Holles school 11+ Exam Styles
- For admission to Year 7 in September 2024, school's entrance assessments will comprise two components: the Independent Schools Examination Board (ISEB) Common Pre-Tests and our own Problem-Solving paper. It's important to note that there is no specific preparation required for these assessments.
- The ISEB Common Pre-Tests are computer-based examinations that are standardized by age. They cover areas such as Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning, Mathematics, and English. Candidates are expected to take the ISEB tests either at their current school or, if that's not feasible, at LEH, where the school will facilitate test sessions in late November 2023.
- In early December, all candidates will be invited to LEH to complete our Problem-Solving paper. This paper will have a duration of approximately one hour and will evaluate linguistic and logical problem-solving skills, encompassing elements of both Mathematics and English.
- School will also request reports from each candidate's current school, and there is a possibility that candidates may be invited for an interview as part of the assessment process.
