- If the ISEB Pre-test is offered applicants should sit it at their school at any time on or before January 2024.
- For those girls whose schools do not offer the ISEB Pre-test, it will be possible to come to Northwood College for Girls to sit the test on one of the following dates:

Northwood College For Girls School 11+ Exam Styles
- ISEB Common Pre-test, is a computer-based test with sections covering Verbal and Non-verbal Reasoning, English and Maths, and it takes two and a half hours to complete (English 25 minutes, mathematics 50 minutes, non-verbal reasoning 32 minutes, verbal reasoning 36 minutes)
- verbal reasoning question styles include common words, antonyms, word combinations, letter transfer, number codes
- non-verbal reasoning question styles include shape analogies, classes like, horizontal codes
- English question styles include reading comprehension, sentence completion, spelling and punctuation
- mathematics content is in line with the National Curriculum; candidates are assessed on National Curriculum topics taught up to the end of Year 5
- All the candidates will be invited to attend an interview, so that school can get to know them better and assess whether Northwood College for Girls is the right school for them.
