Uppingham School 13+ Exam Styles

The common pre-test assessments take two and a half hours to complete and include verbal reasoning (36 minutes), non-verbal reasoning (32 minutes), English comprehension and related English questions (25 minutes). There is also a Maths section using national curriculum topics taught up to the end of year 5 (50 minutes). In addition to these tests, pupils sit a 30-minute English extended writing task and complete a 15-minute interview with a member of staff by zoom.
