Course Overview

This tutoring course is designed to develop 7+ Exam basic skills in Maths, English, and Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning for seven plus exam. 

7+  Maths Syllabus

The Maths syllabus covers core skills such as Numbers, Place Value, methods for Addition, Subtraction, Division, Fractions, Times Tables and some word problem-solving skills. It also covers the basics of Measurement, Geometry - properties of shapes and Statistics. 

7+  English Syllabus

The English tutoring course in 7 + teaches a child to work with a range of texts, including fiction & non-fiction stories, poetry and plays. We also work on grammar and punctuation techniques to develop vocabulary, spelling, root words, prefixes and suffixes. We work on listening comprehension, 7+ reading comprehension of all types, creative writing, writing transcription, writing composition and word reading. We help build your child’s linguistic knowledge, spoken language and listening skills.

7+ Verbal Reasoning

In Verbal Reasoning, we develop more analytical thinking and focus on synonyms, antonyms, and cloze exercises. We look at simple mathematical reasoning problems related to age, time, and year and teach various other techniques to arrive at the correct answer.

7+ Non - Verbal Reasoning

This course teaches simple techniques and strategies to help 7 + students solve different types of Non Verbal Reasoning questions. It focuses on developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and spatial skills through puzzles and educational resources. Students will practice recognizing patterns, using the process of elimination, series completion, analogies, and finding the odd one out.
