Course Overview

Our scholarship course is designed for highly talented students who wish to apply for scholarships/bursaries at independent schools.

In this course, we cover highly challenging logical and advanced mathematics problems. High level of algebraic puzzles and algebra word problems, Simultaneous equations and a higher level of shapes and geometry problems are covered.

The student builds a solid advance level in Maths for 11plus exam preparation and allows students to solve 11 plus exam papers confidently under time pressure with more chances to crack all scholarship level question.

We also cover reading comprehension with a focus on factual, inferential, emotional, and linguistic questions. Students analyze word choice, structure, and literary devices while engaging with fiction, poetry, plays, and non-fiction texts. We emphasize critical reading, vocabulary building, and discussion-based learning.

For writing, we cover transcription (spelling, handwriting) and creative writing, helping students plan, revise, and evaluate their work. Key areas include continuation writing, tone, style, audience awareness, and exam timing strategies. We also provide in-depth SPaG (spelling, punctuation, and grammar) instruction and timed assessments to improve writing speed and accuracy.
