11- Plus Year 4 intermediate course is designed to build further skills in Maths, building upon the work already started in Year 3.
Description of 11- Plus Year 4 Intermediate Course:
Our tutors work on more challenging topics such as decimals, fractions, percentages, mental Maths and geometry. We focus on mental Maths to do basic operations and word problems to help the child gain more speed before they enter in Year 5. This is essential for the 11 Plus exams ensuring the paper is completed accurately and in time. We provide practise on ample papers covering all 11 Plus exam styles.
Prerequisite:
In this course we assume here the student attending this course is well versed with Year 3 basic topics appropriate to Year 2 and 3.
Important Tip:
Many parents feel that this may be too early to start in Year 4, but we strongly advise the parents to start from early stages like Year 3 and Year 4 due to highly competitive nature of the exam to win a place in grammar and independent schools.
This is an ideal time to head start on 11 Plus preparation building all basics and covering all topics to relieve last minutes pressures.
