City of London School (CLS) is one of London's leading academic day schools situated in The City of London. The City of London School provides education for boys aged between 10 to 18 years old. There are over 900 boys in total in the school. The school is imparting academic excellence and educational innovation

History of School
The City of London School was founded in 1442 by John Carpenter to benefit the local children at large. The school was built in 1837 on Milk Street, by the City of London Corporation.

The City of London School has exemplary results in GCSE. The A* was awarded to 68% of the students. About 89% A*-A, and 64 boys gained 9A* grades or more than that. It was seen that a few outstanding boys achieved a 12A* and an extraordinary performance was shown by a boy who achieved a 13A*. - The city boys are talented and have shown remarkable performance in the A-Level category as well. 11 Plus Entry Requirements for the City of London School
Entry Requirements
- Each year the school welcomes 60 boys who join in the first form. The City of London School 11 plus examination has the highest intake from all over London.
- For entry from September 2024, the school has decided to offer bursaries to a wider audience for families with higher incomes. Full fee bursaries will be offered to suitable pupils where family income is below £45,000 P.A with limited assets.
- PARTIAL BURSARIES: CITY OF LONDON SCHOOL 11 PLUS EXAMINATION
- At 11+, Partial bursaries are available to boys joining the school. These normally range from 25% to 75% of tuition fees. Only those candidates who are successful in the qualifying computerized reasoning test will then proceed to the entrance examinations in January.
11 Plus Entrance Exam Format
