Wimbledon High School 11+ Exam Styles

Many candidates will be able to sit the test in their own school with the results being shared across all schools which have chosen the ISEB for which that candidate has applied.
The paper comprises Non-Verbal Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning (very much as the school would ordinarily do on a hard copy paper), and elements of English and Maths which echo some of the ways in which the school would ordinarily assess candidates as part of school creative morning.
Verbal reasoning question styles include common words, antonyms, word combinations, letter transfer, number codes
Non-Verbal reasoning question styles include shape analogies, classes like horizontal codes
English question styles include reading comprehension, sentence completion, spelling and punctuation
Mathematics content is in line with the National Curriculum; candidates are assessed on National Curriculum topics taught up to the end of Year 5
