Pi Academy offers a 3 to 4 months 11Plus Maths tutoring course.We provide intense tutoring for various exam styles including 11 Plus CEM (Centre of Evaluation and monitoring), GL assessment and many other covering 11 Plus Grammar School Exam preparation.

The content and syllabus for this tutoring course is designed to help students develop the skills, speed, and confidence needed for tackling examination papers under time constraints, and is essential for gaining a place in any top grammar and independent school.

Description of 11 Maths Intense Grammar School Prep:

Maths:

In 11 plus Maths Preparation course We revise basic Maths skills appropriate to Key Stage 2 and early Key Stage 3. We focus on more challenging topics which children find difficult such as Fractions, Decimals, Ratios, Percentages Money, Time, Imperial and Metric Measurements, Shapes, Work Consumption, Cubes and Nets, Area and Volume, Magic Squares, Basic and Advance Algebra.

Numerical Reasoning:

We focus on Numerical Reasoning which is a part of the CEM 11+ entrance exam and other 11+ exams. We cover worded problems and teach our pupils how to apply logical thinking analysis and how to draw conclusions.

Age Group: 10 to 11 years

Prerequisite:

We assume here the student attending this course is well versed with fundamentals in Maths and familiar with basic topics appropriate to Year 4 and 5.

Course Duration: 2 to 3 hours /Week for 3 to 4 months. This is a crash course so may take extra hours depending on the student’s understanding level.

We cover more than 70% of advanced topics in this course along with 11plus practice papers suitable for GL Assessment/CEM/and NFER style of examinations.

After successful completion of this course, our more than 90% of our students solved 11plus practice papers and scored nearly 100%. They become highly efficient in solving scholarship questions which involve the higher level of Maths.
