Oundle School 11 Plus Exam Styles
- The evaluations are scheduled for January 12 and January 13, 2024, specifically on Friday and Saturday.
- For students participating in the 11+ Entrance Examination, the assessment includes tests in Mathematics, English, Science, and a Cognitive Ability Test. Additionally, those taking the exams at Oundle School will undergo an informal interview, and potential boarding students will have the opportunity to experience an overnight stay in our junior boarding House.
- All international applicants are required to follow the same entrance procedure and complete the same entrance assessments as applicants from the United Kingdom. If you are not able to take the examination at Oundle School, please make arrangements to take it at a British Council Office.

Oundle School 13 Plus Exam Styles
- For the majority of students entering Oundle at the age of 13 from a UK school, admission is based on the Common Entrance examination, which is typically taken in June of Year 8.
- However, for students attending a UK school that does not administer the Common Entrance exam, they will need to complete the Oundle Entrance assessment in January of Year 8. This assessment includes an informal interview, a Cognitive Ability Test, and tests in Mathematics, English, Science, and usually a Modern Foreign Language.
- All international applicants are also required to undergo the Oundle Entrance assessment in January of Year 8, and they will take the same examination papers as UK applicants. We kindly request that all candidates who are not taking these exams at Oundle School arrange to sit them at a British Council Office.
- Offers for placement for those who have taken the Oundle Entrance exams will be extended in January or February following the completion of the examinations.
