Schools look for bright children who can thrive at their campus, who have a spark in their eyes, have something unique to offer, and can carry a conversation with an adult. The child must have his viewpoint, which usually comes from having family discussions at dinner time, keeping up to date with the world around them, discussing what was learned at school, playground.
While answering the questions during an interview, things like body language, listening skills, choice of words, tone of speech, respecting others. Also, play a crucial role. Moreover, the child should look enthusiastic and avoid monotone/one-word answers.
